We're Approved!

Our I-797 arrived in the mail yesterday. US Customs and Immigration has approved us to adopt "a boy age 0 - 9 with correctable special needs." One more piece of paper on the way to bringing Joseph home.

  1. Did you send off your docs to the consulate? Which consulate do you use in Fl?

  2. Life has been crazy and I haven't had any uninterrupted time to put all our docs together. I'm planning to mail them all to Tallahasee on Tuesday for the Sec. of State documentation. Then we'll send them on to Houston to the Chinese Consulate. Then to China -- Yikes! Honestly, I think I procrastinate because I'm afraid of making a mistake on something this important. I've never been this nervous about paperwork in my whole life.
