Blogaholics Anonymous

I'm a blog addict, an information junkie. I read decorating blogs, home organization blogs, adoption blogs, political blogs - anything that makes me learn or think or laugh or grow. Here's a smattering of posts I've enjoyed lately. Disclaimer: By posting these links, I'm not saying I endorse all the views expressed; but I am saying they made me think.

Is there a blog you read regularly? A website you love? Leave a comment and let me know what it is and why you like it. You can even shamelessly promote your own blog. Gotta feed my addiction.

The Everyday Question of Motherhood  - I needed this.

10 Tips for Stylish Bookcases - We have bookcases in almost every room of our house because we have tons of books.  I threw this one in just for fun.

The Challenge of Trayvon Martin - Insight from a Christian leader I respect.

Bragging Rights - Glennon from Momastery asks the question, "Is it ok to brag about your kids?"

  1. My friend Lizzie writes an incredible blog called Story Wrought - get excited everytime it pops up in my google reader: http://storywrought.com/2012/03/28/the-beauty-in-being-undone/

This one hasn't been updated in awhile, but whenever it is, several of us immediately send out mass texts because it's HILARIOUS -Hyperbole and a Half. This post is the one we always introduce people to it with and is especially good when having a crappy day: http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2010/05/sneaky-hate-spiral.html Her "Best of" sidebar and all the archives are super worth going through.

    1. Megan - Those are the two most unrelated blogs I've ever seen! Just took a quick look. The funny one has almost 60,000 followers! Laughed my head off and subscribed. Thanks!

  2. Hahaha, yes, they are COMPLETELY unrelated. Story Wrought is more searching for life meaning and wanting to live a good life story, while Hyperbole and a Half is utter ridiculousness. Like I said, the girl who writes H&aH seems to have fallen off the grid for awhile now, but reading back posts will help fill the time til she rejoins us. SO so great. :)
